Shannon, Jessie and Larissa

Shannon, Jessie, and Larissa are the back office staff. All are known for exceptional care and technical skills.

Shannon  joined in December of 2011 and has been a wonderful asset for the practice.  As an LVN, she does it all – lab collection, IV infusions, refills and thermograms. Not only is she known for her contagious smile but she is best known for always educating her patients on their health conditions. Shannon works the same hours as Dr. Kaslow – Monday,Tuesday, and Thursday all day and Wednesday until the early afternoon.

Jessie joined the practice in November 2015.  She brings with her over 15 years experience in the medical field specializing in many different specialties including Pedatrics, OBGYN and Family Practice. As an LVN, she performs all the blood draws, IV infusions and different testings while always engaging with patients and families with deep compassion.

Larissa joined the practice in April 2017. She has been a nurse for 3 years and previously worked for the Central California School District as a nurse. Larissa is IV certified as well and enjoys the alternative medical side of our practice.  We are happy to have her on our team as one of our newest additions.

Jenna and Lele are the primary staff in the front office.



Jenna  has been with Dr. Kaslow since April 2016 and works along side Lele to ensure our patients get the best care possible. She is best known for her upbeat personality and warm heart. She works along side the Front Desk team Monday through Thursday.


Lupelele or “Lele”  joined us in May 2015 to provide the lead with billing, accounting, and insurance. Along with her joyfulness and humor, she dedicates herself in providing the best service possible to every patient that walks through the door. We continue to update our scheduling, billing, and insurance claim system in hopes of providing you faster service and higher reimbursements. Billing and Insurance IssuesWe ask that you realize we are on your side and want the whole process to be as smooth as possible for you. Interacting with insurance companies can be slow and very frustrating. If you find an error, please let us know since as we review past billing statements, there may be some confusion. The statement that you receive contains information about what has been billed to your insurance company combined with what you are responsible for paying directly.

Vanessa joined the practice in August 2009.  She has  been trained in NeuroEmotional Technique (NET), REBA testing and BioReprogramming.  She has been getting excellent reviews and reported breakthroughs with emotional blockages and unresolved emotions. Her role in the office is expanding and includes MicroCurrent Neurofeedback and BioResonance testing.  Vanessa also administers our Low Dose Allergen (LDA) and Low Dose Immunotherapy (LDI) program.  She has become quite expert in essential oils and teaches classes every few months in our office of Saturday mornings.  You can e-mail her directly at

Mary and Emily

Mary and Emily are the primary team in the Supplement Dispensary.

Mary has been with Dr. Kaslow since 2003. She has over 20 years of Customer Service experience, Purchasing and Inventory Control with a detailed knowledge of over 30 different supplement lines and international herbs. Along with her thorough understating in holistic methodology she is best known for her excellent attention to detail and her deep compassion for patients.  Reach Mary at

Emily joined the team in the Spring 2014.  She holds an Associate degree in Nutrition from Saddleback College, Bachelor of Science in Allied Health from National University, certified as a Master Herbalist from The National Healing Institute and coordinates all the consultations for our Very Low Calorie Fat Reduction Program with great success! Dr. Kaslow’s professional expertise and interests include nutrition, detoxication, metabolism / biochemistry, immune enhancement, hormone optimization, balancing cellular redox, pain management, neurochemistry, and new techniques for allergies, autoimmunity, and intolerances.

He earned his Medical Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1984.  After completing a 3-year internship and residency in Primary Care  Medicine, Dr. Kaslow completed a 2 year Fellowship in Immunology and Allergy for Adults and Children at the University of California at Irvine in 1989.  He has been in private practice providing direct patient care since.

Dr. Kaslow has been certified by the American Board of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (1989-2009), the American Board of Internal Medicine (1987- ) and the National Board of Medical Examiners.

Staff privileges

  • Dr. Kaslow does not admit patients to the hospital or oversee any in-patient care. As of March 2006, he has no direct hospital affiliations.

Personal Background

As a native Southern Californian, Dr. Kaslow was raised on a farm in the Danish community of Solvang just north of Santa Barbara, California with five brothers and two sisters. His father was a physician who invented the plastic oxygen mask, the plastic nasal oxygen cannula, and a variety of plastic stomach tubes.

Dr. Kaslow married his wife, Sandi in 1984. They have three children: Jacob, who is a pediatrician, Alexandra who works in the fashion industry, and  Sierra who works for a technology company in San Francisco.  Among his hobbies, Dr. Kaslow enjoys computers and tennis.
